There have been a number of self harm incidents involving fixed wardrobe rails, such that any risk assessment should include this possibility.
The Magnetic Load Release Wardrobe Rail provides the answer by suspending a lightweight aluminium rail from top-fix magnetic brackets. Under excess load the rail and its holder will part from the brackets.
The standard rail is 500 mm long, although this can be cut to suit smaller lengths. For rails over 500 mm long an intermediate bracket and holder is available.
