Consequently, it is incumbent upon buyers or buyers representatives, their employees or agents to ensure that end users, installers,
specifiers and all other directly or indirectly affected parties are aware of the need for correct product selection and installation,
together with regular ongoing testing and maintenance.
• The very best of products will invariably under perform if badly fitted, incorrectly specified or poorly maintained.
• On completion of installation works, anti-ligature installations should be performance tested and a certificate of compliance issued.
The ongoing performance of all anti-ligature fittings in use should be regularly monitored to ensure optimum efficiency in operation with re-certification where necessary.
